Fashion is one of many outlets we use for our creative expression. That's why we recently spent the afternoon with fashion designer and boutique owner, Lindsey Enyart, so she could help us style our tanks for the many looks of the season. Check out the six looks she created and why.
Look 1 - Tough & Tender
Lindsey used the Gypsy Soul tank
as the foundation of the look. She paired distressed cropped jeans (by J Brand) with layered bracelets to add easy style. She finished off the look with studded rose gold sandals (by Rebecca Minkoff) to add an edgy vibe for the sweet combination of tough and tender.
Tip: Accessorize with neutral and gold tones to compliment the cool hues in the soft tank.
Look 2 - About Town
For this look, Lindsey used The Sun tank
with white cropped jeans (by J Brand) to create a crisp daytime look. She added dimension and a pop of color at the neckline by layering smaller necklaces together (like the Gold Horn pendant by Gorjana and a turquoise vermeil hand enameled necklace by Sharon Kaplan). The look is complete with our favorite tan suede cage high heel sandals by Pour La Victoire.
Tip: Weather changes and so do plans. Bring a light jacket to layer in case your day out turns into dinner with friends.
Look 3 - A Night Out
This look was all about color and sophistication so Lindsey used The Sea top
as inspiration. She added black jogger pants (by Karina Grimaldi) because the combination of refined fabric with the casual pant silhouette is intriguing and on-trend. Then finished with strappy high heel sandals (these by Pour La Victoire) with metal hardware details to create a polished evening style.
Tip: Toss your locks in a top knot for a quick, sleek look.
Look 4 - Hippie Chic
Lindsey got us styled for Coachella
by pairing the Tarot of the Bohemians
tank with distressed charcoal denim shorts (by J Brand). Our strappy booties offer an edgy alternative to the expected sandal while channeling our inner rockstar. In lieu of actual feather earrings, Lindsey used large silver angel wing earrings (hand-fabricated by artist Amie Plante). And most importantly, she helped us help others by sending us off in Global Goods Partners Bracelets.
Tip: Keep your arms free to swing and dance by using a cross-body bag for all of your music festivals, like this Rais Case fringe vida bag.
Look 5 - Cool Spring
Lindsey grabbed The Moon tank
to create a laid-back bohemian vibe. The silky fabric of the top is off-set with an over-sized cotton cocoon cardigan (by LA Made) for a versatile springtime layering piece. She used
studded sandals to draw attention to the frayed hem of the cropped jeans (by J Brand).
Tip: Wearing what feels comfortable is the best look of all.
Look 6 - Earth Goddess
This look is about ease and elements, which Lindsey accomplished using The Desert tank
as the foundation. She used ankle booties in a light neutral color to ground the femininity of the lilac tones in the tank. To finish, she added a powerful amethyst stone necklace to create dimension to the subtleties of this soft color palette.
